I love the minstrel’s gallery and all the wooden beams. I imagine it’s a popular place, especially in the summer – and on Sundays! National Trust is good, we’re members, although we didn’t make much use of it last year.
The original house is very old and this room has seen many changes over the years!
Old houses usually do see a lot of changes. The NT will make sure it looks good nowadays, of course.
